AlsaPlayer is a new PCM player written with the ALSA sound system in mind. It also includes support for JACK, OSS, NAS, and ESD. It makes extensive use of multi-threading and supports OGG, MP3, WAV, CDDA (CD Digital Audio), MOD, S3M, IT, and many other input types. Features include a real- time effects stream, variable speed/pitch control, SHOUTcast/icecast streaming support, multiple active visual scopes, command line mode, playlists, plugin architecture, low-latency mode, and more.

El jugador tiene ahora una interfaz GTK2 plenamente de trabajo. Se incluye la misma funcionalidad que la interfaz de GTK1 y nuevas funciones (canción de bucle y bucle de lista de reproducción). La ventana de lista de reproducción ha sido completamente reescrito, y está dentro de la ventana principal. Los plugins ámbitos se han migrado. Un montón de depuración se ha hecho. The player has now a fully working GTK2 interface. It includes the same functionality as the GTK1 interface and some new functions (loop song and loop playlist). The playlist window has been completely rewritten, and is inside the main window. The scopes plugins have been migrated. A lot of debugging has been done. All users are encouraged to upgrade and to use the GTK2 interface.
