The Attribute-Type-Value Object Language (ATV) was
created to store and read machine data, i.e.
configuration or object serialization files, in a
human readable format that resembles C/C++. It is
used, for example, by the TOAD C++ GUI library and
the Innominate Security Technologies mGuard Firewall.
