Descripción del Proyecto

KFLog (The K Flight Logger) is an aircraft pilot
program for KDE. It is used to display, analyze,
and evaluate flights logged with a GPS flight
recorder (IGC file-format). The user can view the
flight track and the task both in 2D and 3D. The
user can also optimize the task to get a task
which provides a maximum number of points for the
logged track. Animation of the track and planning
a new task are also possible. KFLog supports a
highly configurable vector map, based on DCW-data,
as well as digital terrain data, based on GTOPO30.
The currently available maps cover all of Europe.
The airspace structure available for KFLog covers
the whole world, and is updated about every month.

Además, el cursor en el evaluationdialog se mueve durante la animación de un vuelo, o si el usuario mueve el del mouse sobre un flighttrack en el mapa. Beside an improved context-menu in the map, the new version comes with a dockable evaluation dialog. In addition, the cursor in the evaluationdialog is moving during the animation of a flight, or if the users moves the mousepointer over a flighttrack in the map. This version also indroduces the new KFLog-Browser for an easier access to all loaded flights, tasks, etc.

More flight recorders, such as Filser and Garmin-GPS, are supported. You now can optimize your flights according to the OLC rules and upload the flight to the OLC server. You no longer have to worry about installing the correct map: KFLog can download them from the map server and install them automatically.

Esta es la primera versión que se ejecuta con ambas KDE 2.2 y KDE 3. Ahora es posible importar archivos de FlightGear, así como los archivos Gardown. Ahora el usuario puede cambiar entre dos tipos de proyección cartográfica y configurarlos. Es posible guardar e imprimir las tareas previstas, y la impresión de los vuelos también se apoya.
