SOLVED: Peazip right-mouse click fails when used with FreeCommander (but works with Windows Explorer)
On Windows 7 and more recent systems PeaZip uses by default the new method recommended by Microsoft for creating cascaded context menus, some file managers don't yet support that method so does not display the menus created in that way. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc144171(v=vs.85).aspx#static_cascading
Fixing this issue requires the third parts file managers to fully support "new" static verbs introduced with Windows 7.
A workaround: install or (re-configure) PeaZip, un-checking "Cascaded menu" option in "Context menu" screen: in this classic non-cascaded static verbs will be created, which works on newer and older systems (Vista, XP and previous ones), as well as third parts file managers.
Thank you. This solved the problem.
Windows 10 Pro. Used on Surface Pro 4. Peazip v.6.11
Right-click on PeaZip on a zipped file in FreeCommander fails to activate the sub-menu. This function works in Windows Explorer.
Any solutions?
