Tera Term is Tera Term Pro 2.3 succession version and is being officially recognized by the original author. Tera Term is open source free software terminal emulator supporting UTF-8 protocol. Now TTSSH supports SSH2 protocol (Original version supports SSH1).

  • Changes
    • added support for SSH_MSG_USERAUTH_BANNER SSH message.
      • added the AuthBanner entry in the teraterm.ini file. The default is 1(display to VT window).
    • The minimum group size of the Diffie-Hellman group exchange key exchange method is increased to 2048. (RFC 8270)
      • To change to the previous behavior, set the GexMinimalGroupSize entry in teraterm.ini file to 1024.
  • Bug fixes
    • Application fault is occurred if server proposes a very long string in the algorithm negotiation.
    • When using aes128-gcm@openssh.com or aes256-gcm@openssh.com as symmetric cipher algorithm, connection is terminated if MAC algorithm cannot negotiate.
    • The [SSH SCP] entry of [File] menu can not be disabled on serial connection.
    • When using aes128-gcm@openssh.com or aes256-gcm@openssh.com as symmetric cipher algorithm, un-used MAC algorithm is displayed on "About TTSSH" dialog.
    • The fingerprint of server host key on "About TTSSH" dialog may display unused key method on same server connection.

    • upgraded OpenSSL to 1.0.2n.

    • SSH_MSG_USERAUTH_BANNER SSH メッセージに対応した。
      • teraterm.ini に AuthBanner エントリを追加した。デフォルトは 1。(VTウィンドウで表示)
    • Diffie-Hellman group exchane 鍵交換方式での最小グループサイズを 2048 に変更した。(RFC 8270)
      • 以前の動作に戻すには、teraterm.ini の GexMinimalGroupSize エントリを 1024 にする。

    • 暗号方式等のネゴシエーション時、サーバの提案が長すぎる時に落ちる問題を修正した。
    • 暗号方式で aes128-gcm@openss.com または aes256-gcm@openssh.com を使用時、MAC 方式のネゴシエーションが行えなかった時に接続を切る問題を修正した。
    • シリアルポート接続時に [File] メニューの [SSH SCP] が無効にならない問題を修正した。
    • 暗号方式で aes128-gcm@openss.com または aes256-gcm@openssh.com を使用時、"About TTSSH" ダイアログで使用していない MAC 方式を表示する問題を修正した。
    • "About TTSSH" ダイアログのサーバホスト鍵の指紋に、同一サーバで接続に使用されていない方式の鍵が表示されることがある問題を修正した。

    • OpenSSL 1.0.2nへ差し替えた。
