While doing transfer of files with Tera Term (Win10 or Win7) Kermit->Send over Telnet into an Unix machine running in SIMH, the max transfer speed is something like 300-1000 Bytes/second. The same setup with K-95g Kermit (also in Win) allows 7500-13000 Bytes/second transfer speed over Telnet. It seems it is a limitation of Tera Term (ie. latest 4.106) caused by either Nagel algorithm, or by not supporting a "stream" option in Kermit, or both, or something else. The Kermit used in the 2.11BSD Unix was C-Kermit version 5A(188) running on a PDP-11/70 in the SIMH simulator (4.0.0 latest).
