A command to update ClamAV automatically until installation from downloading in place of the user who build it from sources. We develop FreshClamDaemon and ClamAntiVirusDaemon related to ClamAV for Mac OS X.

Release Notes

To support ClamXav which is a GUI front end of ClamAV on Mac OS X, ClamXav Helper has following functions.

  • ClamXav Helper starts ClamXav Sentry when any user(include new user) logs in. Delete ClamXav Sentry from the startup items.
  • ClamXav Helper restarts ClamXav Sentry immediately even if it ends by crash etc. while logging on.
  • ClamXav Heleper rotates the scan log file by ClamXav and ClamXav Sentry, and prevents it from growing too much.

ClamXav Helper は、ClamAV の Mac OS X 用 GUI フロントエンド ClamXav をサポートするために次の機能を提供します。

  • 新規ユーザも含めて全てのユーザにおいてログイン時に ClamXav Sentry を起動する。 ClamXav Sentry を起動項目から外してください。
  • ログイン中 ClamXav Sentry がクラッシュなどで終了しても即座に起動し直す。
  • ClamXav と ClamXav Sentry のスキャンログファイルをローテーションし、それが大きくなり過ぎないようにする。
