La interfaz de usuario se ha mejorado y la información sobre el módulo de juego es ahora más precisa que en versiones anteriores.

Major feature enhancements
MP has been greatly improved with easy-to-manage playlists (add, del,
save...) and a full options window (16bit, stereo, surround...). The
user interface has been improved and information about the playing
module is now more accurate than in preceding versions.
El selector de archivo se ha depurado y está en pleno funcionamiento. Cargar el archivo es seguro. Ahora es posible silenciar los canales por separado o todos juntos.
