Ewrt is a Linux distribution for the Linksys WRT54G that was
forked from the Linksys and Sveasoft code bases. It is
designed to meet the needs of open wireless network
operators by providing a captive portal based on NoCatSplash
and large-scale management functionality on a stable and
low-cost platform.

This version imported code from the Linksys 2.02.2 and 2.02.7
releases. glib 1.2.10 and NocatSplash were added, and bugs
and portability issues were fuxed. rc functionality for
generating nocat.conf at boot and starting splashd was
added, and Web page control was implemented for
NocatSplash. Remote syslogging was fixed along with more
build issues. Users can now explicitly use a default gateway on
the LAN interface instead of the WAN interface. The 'nvram
commit' function was documented and includes a warning for
users.
