Spit is a graphical picture indexing tool. It can be used to manage
pictures and generate thumbnails and HTML pages for putting your
pictures online. It allows quick and easy ordering, editing, and adding
captions for pictures. It is designed for user-friendliness,
portability, and extensibility.

it very easy to customize the generated pages. The default template
now uses CSS for better looks and better standards compliance. MacOS X
support has been improved. Minor changes and dialog cleanups have been
added.
