Is there some English documentation about how to use the program? Is there a research paper that can be cited, so that the work can be correctly be attributed to the author?

I'd also be curious about what the relation of this program is to prefixspan-0.4-ngram.tar.gz at http://www.chasen.org/~taku/software/prefixspan/
