Details

Hi,

Every time I send an email, Tenfourbird's CPU usage on my G4 aluminim Powerbook goes up to around 15-20% and persists indefinitely even though no jobs are running. I've tried sending email from both IMAP and Pop3 accounts, and every time the CPU goes up by about 15-20%. The only thing that returns CPU usage to normal (0-3%) is to restart the application.

This wasn't a problem in version 31. I only noticed it in 38.

Comentario

Thank you for reporting bug. I could reproduce this bug.

I have not figure out the cause of this bug yet. But I found workaround for this bug.

After sending message:

  1. Open mail compose window.
  2. Click (ie. Select) another window. (this window must not hide the close button of mail compose window.)
  3. Click close button of mail compose window. (Do not bring to top the compose window. Just click close button.)

I think this bug may related key event listening.

Regards.
