The start of CDI 6.5.2 and 6.6 Beta1 causes in the moment of disks searching an error on my RAID controller "Adaptec RAID 5805Z" and a "deep" frozen system for about 2 minutes - but no crash or blue screen nor big data loss. The error message is "The driver detected a controller error on \Device\RaidPort0 ...".
My system: SuperMicro server with CPU Xeon E5620 and MS Server 2008r2.
Found fix by deactivating complete Intel RAID (CSMI)!
Before 1st start of CDI the DiskInfoX64.ini/DiskInfo.ini must cointain :
Setting
CsmiType=0
CrystalDiskInfo
