When creating a .dtx from a song I don't already have the drum notation for, I have to listen some parts over and over again using DTXCreators "play only background" button to compare the music with the chips I place so far. For this it would be nice if DTXViewer would jump 5s back/forward if I pressed e.g. the cursor-left/cursor-right.

It is very hard to maintain current DTXViewer, because no source files exist (unfortunately all source codes are gone from author's HDD by re-installing Windows...).

So I stack up your request until we re-make DTXViewer from scratch. (we have to do in someday, I know)

Here is one suggestion.

Current DTXC has keyboard short cuts like

• [F5] Play from top
• [F6] Play from current part
• [Alt]-[P][B] Play BGM from current part
• [F7] Stop

Your favorite "Play BGM from current part" doesn't have a simple keyboard shortcut.

To listen some music part efficiently, I'd like to add simple shortcut to it (Shift+F5 etc). It will help you to rewind music easier.

Thanks for the proposal but actually, I use the mouse anyway. DTXViewer just needs a couple of seconds to start which is the problem. But if the sources are lost I understand that this feature request has to be postponed :)
