BRLTTY is a daemon which provides access to the Linux console (when in text mode) for a blind person using a refreshable braille display. It drives the braille display, and provides complete screen review functionality. Some speech capability has also been incorporated.

El EcoBraille, EuroBraille, y los conductores MDV se actualizaron. Una opción que se añadió para saltar directamente a la siguiente / anterior en la línea FWINRT / LT, cuando el resto de la línea está en blanco. Un conductor habla ExternalSpeech fue añadido para el envío de voz a un programa externo. Se agregó el soporte para el seguimiento del lenguaje (para sintetizadores que proporcionan indización palabra), así como el seguimiento de algunos atributos de ajuste.

The EcoBraille, EuroBraille, and MDV drivers were updated. An option was added to skip directly to next/prev line on FWINRT/LT when the rest of the line is blank. An ExternalSpeech speech driver was added for sending speech to an external program. Support was added for speech tracking (for synths that provide word indexing) as well as some attribute tracking tuning.
