Crossfire is a multi-player graphical arcade and adventure game made for X. It has certain flavours from other games, especially Gauntlet and the rogue-like games (Nethack, Moria, Angband, and Ragnarok). Any number of players can move around in their own window, finding and using items and battling monsters. They can choose to cooperate or compete in the same world.

Esta versión incluye numerosas correcciones y mejoras de estabilidad, junto con muchos cambios y mejoras menores. Algunos de los cambios principales incluyen comandos nuevo protocolo para que el cliente puede obtener datos que no tenía antes, retoques y ajustes a varias razas y clases, y un montón de código de limpieza. This release includes numerous bugfixes and stability enhancements, along with many minor changes and improvements. Some of the major changes include new protocol commands so the client can get data it didn't have before, tweaks/adjustments to several races and classes, and a lot of code cleanup. This release removes old/unused code and has fixes for diagnosed crashes. This is the first official release since the migration from CVS to Subversion.
