dccserver is a standalone program that aims to provide the functionality of MIRC's /dccserver command. Currently, Chat and Send (including resume) modes are supported. Fserve and Get mode are not yet supported.

Esta versión añade un comando "Cerrar" para cerrar las conexiones particular, un "info" comando para mostrar los estados de transferencia de corriente para todas las conexiones, y el manejo de tiempo de espera adecuado. Se muestra el tiempo utilizado por las transferencias y la tasa de transferencia. Ahora se puede escuchar en varios puertos. dccsend se fijó para trabajar con mIRC. Hay una secuencia de comandos de apoyo X-Chat, y fija para la construcción en Darwin.

Minor feature enhancements
This version adds a "close" command to close particular
connections, an "info" command to show the current
transfer states for all connections, and proper timeout
handling. It shows the time taken by transfers and the
transfer rate. It can now listen on multiple ports. dccsend
was fixed to work with mIRC. There is an X-Chat support
script, and fixes for the build on Darwin.
Este paquete incluye ahora dccsend, un programa para enviar archivos de forma remota ejecutando dccservers. Se agregó el soporte para el funcionamiento de dccserver como un programa integrado en irssi. Caminos de nombres de ficheros enviados desde remotos son ahora eliminados. El caso en que dos o más clientes quieren escribir en el mismo archivo que ahora se realiza con más gracia. Se hicieron varias correcciones de errores.

Major feature enhancements
This package now includes dccsend, a program to send files to remotely running dccservers. Support was added for running dccserver as an embedded program in irssi. Paths from filenames sent from remote are now stripped. The case when two or more clients want to write to the same file is now handled more gracefully. Various bugfixes were made.
El programa ya está instalado con setuid root por defecto, se limita a un entorno chroot y soltar los privilegios tan pronto como sea posible. Ahora se permite que más de la cantidad negociada de bytes que se transfieren, en caso de archivo del remitente ha crecido desde el inicio de la DCC enviar. Archivos para el puerto de Debian también fueron incluidos.

Major feature enhancements
The program is now installed setuid root by default, limiting itself to a chroot and dropping privileges as soon as possible. It now allows more than the negotiated number of bytes to be transferred, in case the sender's file has grown since the start of the DCC send. Files for the new Debian port were also included.
