Fetchmail is a free, full-featured, robust, well-documented remote-mail retrieval and forwarding utility intended to be used over on-demand TCP/IP links (such as SLIP or PPP connections). It supports every remote-mail protocol now in use on the Internet: POP2, POP3, RPOP, APOP, KPOP, all flavors of IMAP, and ESMTP ETRN, ODMR, SMTP, LMTP, and local delivery agents.

Esta versión corrige una vulnerabilidad de denegación STARTTLS servicio (CVE-2011-1947). Reduce repeticiones en "invisible" el registro de mensajes y acelera IMAP obtiene con buzones de cuerpo bastante un poco. Fetchmail ahora fija sus tomas de Internet a modo de keepalive, para la detección de desconexiones, y resuelve MD5 relacionados con problemas de compilación.

This release fixes a STARTTLS denial of service vulnerability (CVE-2011-1947). It reduces repetitions in "unseen" message logging and speeds up IMAP fetches with full mailboxes quite a bit. Fetchmail now sets its Internet sockets to keepalive mode, to detect disconnections, and resolves MD5-related build problems.
