geniusvp2 is a SANE backend for the Genius ColorPage-Vivid Pro II flatbed scanner. It was initially based on the pxscan code from Gustaf Kröling, but has been (almost) completely rewritten.

Code cleanup
This release has exactly the same code as geniusvp2-0.2.1, but was repackaged in a self-containable tarball (so you don't need the sane-backends package anymore to build this package).

Major bugfixes
A bug where the parallel port was not released when sane_geniusvp2_parport_open() exited with an EPP mode not detected error was fixed.
