Software Map

　FreeMindは、議論やアイデアをまとめる手法であるマインドマップを作成するためのフリーのソフトウェアです。簡単にグラフィカルなマインドマップを作成できるほか、作成したマインドマップをPDFやPNG、HTMLといった形式で保存する機能も備えています。

　FreeMindで作成したマインドマップは自由に展開/折り畳みができ、またWebブラウザで動的に動くマップを作成することもできます。

マインドマップとは？

　マインドマップは、ある対象について、関連するキーワードや想起されるイメージを放射状に繋げながら描いていくことで分析/表現を行うものです。キーワードやイメージを繋げていく表現方法は人間の脳が物事を記憶/分析する方法に近いと言われており、物事の特徴を把握しやすく図示する方法であると言われています。

　マインドマップの基本的な作成ルールは非常に単純です。まず、分析/表現したい対象を中心に書き、そこから放射状に線を延ばしてその事柄に関連するキーワードや想起されるキーワードを書き込みます。続いて新たに書き込まれたキーワードに対し、同様に関連/するキーワード、想起されるキーワードを書き込んでいく、というステップを繰り返すことで、マインドマップは作成されます。

　FreeMindはWindowsおよびMac OS X、Linuxで動作します。また、実行にはjava.comからダウンロードできるJava Runtime Environment（JRE）が必要です。最新版のJREをダウンロードしてからインストールを行ってください。

Separate+ is the plug-in package that provides some useful color-management functions for the GIMP.

Separate+ contains following components:

1. separate : RGB to CMYK conversion / Softproofing plug-in
2. icc_colorspace : RGB to RGB conversion / Profile management plug-in
3. IccButton : Color profile selector widget for Gtk+ (experimental)

Blender is a free 3D animation studio. It includes tools for modeling, sculpting, texturing (painting, node-based shader materials, or UV mapped), UV mapping, rigging and constraints, weight painting, particle systems, simulation (fluids, physics, and soft body dynamics and an external crowd simulator), rendering, node-based compositing, and non linear video editing, as well as an integrated game engine for real-time interactive 3D, and game creation and playback with cross-platform compatibility.

Piwigo is photo gallery system for the Web. The project started in 2002 and is built by an active community of users and developers. It comes with powerful features for publishing and managing your photos, scalability, and smart browsing capabilities such as albums, tags, or calendars. Extensions make Piwigo even more customizable.

Scribus is a desktop page layout program with the aim of producing commercial grade output in PDF and Postscript.

JasperReports is a Java reporting library. XML report templates are used to generate ready to print documents using data from customizable data sources, including JDBC. The output can be delivered to the screen, printer, or stored in PDF, HTML, XLS, RTF, CSV, and XML format.

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software suitable for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It can be used as a simple paint program, an expert quality photo retouching program, an online batch processing system, a mass production image renderer, a image format converter, etc.

Barcode Writer in Pure Postscript implements the printing of many barcode formats entirely within PostScript, so that the process of converting the input string into the printed output is performed by the printer or print system. The project supports all major barcode formats including: EAN-13 (JAN-13), EAN-8 (JAN-8), UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-5 & EAN-2 (EAN/UPC add-ons), ISBN (including legacy ISBN), ISMN (including legacy ISMN), ISSN, Code 128 (A, B & C), GS1-128, SSCC-18 (EAN-18, NVE), EAN-14, Code 39, Code 39 Extended, Code 93, Code 93 Extended, Code 32 (Italian Pharmacode), Pharmazentralnummer (PZN), Interleaved 2 of 5, ITF-14 (UPC SCS), GS1 DataBar (Omnidirectional, Stacked, Stacked Omnidirectional, Limited, Expanded, Expanded Stacked), Code 2 of 5 (Industrial, IATA, Matrix, Datalogic & COOP), Code 11 (USD-8), BC412, Codabar (NW-7), Pharmacode (including two-track), MSI, Plessey, Telepen, Channel Code, PosiCode, PDF417, Data Matrix (ECC200), QR Code (including Micro QR Code), and more.

QCAD is an application for computer aided drafting (CAD) in two dimensions (2D). With QCAD, you can create technical drawings such as plans for buildings, interiors, mechanical parts, or schematics and diagrams. QCAD can be easily extended through plugins and its very powerful and complete ECMAScript (JavaScript) interface.

Fotoxx navigates an image collection using a thumbnail browser to choose images to view or edit. Edit functions include brightness, contrast, color, gamma, white balance, tone mapping, red eyes, sharpen, blur, noise suppression, smart erase, trim (crop), resize, rotate, add text, bend/warp, many art effects, HDR, HDF, stack, and panorama. Edit functions use movable curves and sliders. Feedback is live using the whole image. RAW files can be edited and saved with deep color. Areas or objects can be selected using freehand draw, follow edge, and tone matching. Selections can be edited in place with adjustable blending. They can also be cut and pasted into other images. Any metadata can be edited, reported, and searched (filenames, tags, dates, geotags, comments, captions, ratings, etc.). Collections (arbitrary subsets) can be defined and viewed. Batch functions are available for rename, resize/export, RAW conversion, and more.

【XTBook】MediaWiki Viewer for Sharp Brain:

XTBook is a piece of software developed by Nexhawks and allows you to browse MediaWiki-based wiki sites on a SHARP Brain series electronic dictionary, a Windows PC, and a Mac. It supports Wikiplexus formatted data generated from a dump file of a MediaWiki-based wiki site and Image-Complex formatted data generated from image files. Also, XTBook can search articles in a second from more than 1,000,000 keys by using a searching database embedded in XTBook Wikiplexus.

Concepts:

• Processes a wiki site in the same procedure as Wikipedia as much as possible
• Prioritizes processing accuracy
• Supports JPEG and HTML

Misc:

Since October 2022, we moved the distribution site of Wikimedia Foundation's wiki sites from here to GitHub. We set GitHub Actions to automatically generate dictionary files around the 4th of each month in Japanese time. We continue to distribute dictionary files of Uncyclopedia images, Brain Wiki, and English Wikipedia here, which we can't automate.

You can use https://osdn.net/projects/xtbook/storage/WikipediaImage/20190730/ for Japanese Wikipedia. For other wiki sites, you may find an image distribution in an older release.

Xpdf is a viewer for Portable Document Format (PDF) files. (These are also sometimes also called 'Acrobat' files, from the name of Adobe's PDF software.) The Xpdf project also includes a PDF text extractor, PDF-to-PostScript converter, and various other utilities. It runs under the X Window System on UNIX, VMS, and OS/2. The non-X components (pdftops, pdftotext, etc.) also run on Win32 systems, and should run on pretty much any system with a decent C++ compiler. Xpdf is designed to be small and efficient. It can use Type 1 and TrueType fonts.

Gallery is a slick Web-based photo album written using PHP. It is easy to install, includes a config wizard, and provides users with the ability to create and maintain their own albums in the album collection via an intuitive Web interface. Photo management includes automatic thumbnail creation, image resizing, rotation, ordering, captioning and more. Albums can have read, write, and caption permissions per individual authenticated user for an additional level of privacy.
