JACL is an interpreted language for creating interactive fiction and turn-based Web games. Using a variety of Glk libraries, JACL has cross-platform support for graphics and sound in the desktop environment. JACL also includes an integrated Web server for easy testing of Web-based games.

Apoyo para acceso a la Web ha sido removida para centrarse en el apoyo para Glk multimedia multiplataforma. La barra de estado ahora es totalmente personalizable. Nuevos comandos de manipulación de cadena se han añadido, junto con una nueva sintaxis para la creación de matrices. Hubo muchas correcciones de errores y una importante revisión del manual.

Support for Web access has been removed to focus on Glk support for cross-platform multimedia. The status bar is now fully customizable. New string manipulation commands have been added along with a new syntax for creating arrays. There were many bugfixes and a major revision of the manual.
