Kexi is an integrated environment for managing data.
It helps with creating database schemas and
inserting, querying, and processing data. It
integrates smoothly into KDE and KOffice, and is
designed to compete with Microsoft Access. It is supported under Linux and MS Windows.

Kexi, la aplicación de base de datos de escritorio, ha recibido más de 270 mejoras incluyendo la capacidad de manejar imágenes mediante el nuevo "objeto" de tipo de datos, la capacidad de compactar la base de datos, soporte para el reconocimiento automático de tipo de datos, y herramientas de scripting Kross. MS Access como las macros están ahora soportados también. Manual del usuario se ha actualizado.

Kexi, the desktop database application, has received over 270 improvements including the ability to handle images using the new "object" data type, the ability to compact the database, support for automatic data type recognition, and Kross scripting tools.
