Measuring Buffer is an enhanced version of buffer with many new features: It supports display of throughput, memory-mapped file I/O for huge buffers, IPv4/IPv6 network support, MD5 hash value calculation, and output to multiple targets in parallel (distribution mode).

Una opción se ha añadido a terminar en cualquier tipo de error. Un cuelgue al iniciar mbuffer en el fondo se fijó. Las dimensiones que aparecen se han cambiado para ser compatible con las normas del SI.
An option was added to terminate on any kind of error. A hang when starting mbuffer in the background was fixed. The displayed dimensions were changed to be compliant to SI standards.
