The net-tools package contains a collection of programs that form the base set of the NET-3 networking distribution for the Linux operating system. It contains the important tools for controlling the network subsystem of the Linux kernel including arp, hostname, ifconfig, netstat, rarp and route.

Esta versión corrige varios casos de desaparecidos declaraciones de ruptura de la cláusula de incumplimiento de un interruptor, que GCC3 y GCC4 quejarse. This release fixes several occurrences of missing break statements in the default clause of a switch, which GCC3 and GCC4 complain about. It explicitly includes stdlib.h where required. Conditional code has been added to deal with a difference between the 2.4 and 2.6 kernel types for struct x25_address (it's a typedef in 2.4 and a plain struct in 2.6).
