Project Utgard is a sub-project of the openSCADA
project. It's focused on creating a completely
Java and open source OPC interface for the
openSCADA project. In order to create clean
interfaces between both worlds, a separate project
was created which only covers OPC specific
functionality which can also be used outside
openSCADA to create OPC software.

were several enhancements in the wrapper library
providing more helper classes that aid in
developing applications. The IOPCServerList
interface (a.k.a. OPCEnum) was mapped and helper
classes were added to the "lib" module to allow
easy browsing for available OPC services.

new access method that is based on it was created.
