Este lanzamiento se inicia una serie estable. Las nuevas características incluyen barras de progreso en las ventanas de la acción, cambia el nombre de archivo mayor, más rápido la generación de miniaturas, mejor soporte para dispositivos extraíbles, guarda la configuración de pantalla, y Xinerama y xrandr (cambio de tamaño de pantalla) de apoyo. Checo, portugués, rumano y traducciones han sido añadidas. Una traducción al italiano de la esta manual.
