TCVP is a modular and configurable audio and video player, transcoder, and streamer. Most popular file formats and codecs are supported. It
can be used from the command line or with a GUI. A flexible skin-based GUI is included, as well as a converter for XMMS/Winamp skins.

El núcleo del jugador fue reescrito, las interfaces del módulo se han generalizado y mejorado, y varios módulos fueron añadidos. Varias mejoras menores y correcciones de errores se hicieron cambios visibles, aunque hubo algunos directamente del usuario. La licencia fue cambiado a MIT/X11.
