PPP-in-telnet allows Solaris users to establish a PPP tunnel through a firewall by means of a telnet proxy. It talks to the telnet proxy to connect to a pppd listening on a port on the Internet, and shuttles bytes between pppd and the telnet proxy.

Webified Remote Desktop (WRD) is a browser-based
application providing Remote Desktop Protocol
(RDP) access over HTTP/HTTPS. Using MyOODB and
rdesktop, it provides easy anywhere access to

mpscan is a parallel network scanner that checks
for open ports. It uses select() to increase its

Lix is a client-server mechanism to manage Linux

firewall platform. It currently implements an
interpreter for Cisco PIX.

The dnsreflector daemon listens for DNS queries on
a local UDP port and answers with records pointing
back to localhost. Combined with OpenBSD's packet
filter pf(4), this works as a bandwidth efficient
spamtrap.

run under a 2.2 or 2.4 Linux kernel (ipchains or
iptables). It requires no knowledge of firewalls or

iptables blocklist importer is a Python program to
parse and import P2P-style IP range block lists
into an iptables chain quickly and efficiently.

cp2fwbuilder (Checkpoint Firewall 1 to FwBuilder) helps you to migrate an existing Checkpoint Firewall 1 installation and its rulesets to Linux with iptables or a BSD-based firewall. This is done by converting the Rulebase- and the Objects-database from Checkpoint to the FirewallBuilder XML Format.
