m23 is a software deployment system for Debian GNU/Linux that allows you to install and administrate hundreds of clients via network. It can partition and format clients and install Debian, (K/X)Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Fedora, OpenSuse, and CentOS operating systems on your virtual and physical clients. Group functions allow the comfortable update and installation of further packages during operation. Mass installation functions simplify your administration chores. m23 has a Web interface. Backup functions are implemented for server and clients.

wrt54g-linux is a mini-distribution for the Linksys wrt54g 802.11b/g access point and router. It includes basic tools such as sh, syslog, telnetd, httpd (with cgi-bin support), vi, snort, mount, insmod, rmmod, top, grep, find, nfs modules, etc. The installation script runs in about 20 seconds and installs strictly to the RAM disk. If you mess anything up, simply reset the box. After installing the distribution you'll be able to telnet in, add Web pages, change iptable rules, change routing, configure snort, etc.

BleachBit deletes junk to recover disk space and maintain privacy. It rids your system of old junk including cache, Internet history, temporary files, unused locale files (better than localepurge), logs, and cookies. Designed for Linux systems, it wipes clean 50 applications including Adobe Reader, Bash, Firefox, Flash, OpenOffice.org, Opera, Real Player, Skype, and more. Cobbler is a network installation and update server. It can be used to automatically set up PXE, install virtual guests, manage answer files, and reinstall existing Linux machines. Advanced features include importing distributions from DVDs and rsync mirrors, kickstart templating, integrated yum mirroring (integrated with the installer to make updates available at install time), creation of netboot ISOs, and built-in DHCP/DNS Management. Tools such as "cobbler triggers", a Python API, and an XMLRPC API allow integration with cobbler with the rest of your datacenter environment or other systems management applications. There is also a Web interface to simplify management of the install server. Cobbler supports RHEL 4+, Fedora, and derivative distributions, and is also able to install other popular distributions.

redWall is a bootable CD-ROM firewall which focuses on Web-based reporting of the firewall's status. It includes Snort, snortsam, dansguardian, and support for fwbuilder, squidguard, reporting (using BASE/sarg/ntop/webfwlog), VPN (Openswan/PoPToP/Openvpn), Spam Filtering (spamassassin, dcc, razor2, clamav, amavis-new, dspam and maia mailguard), and mail-based, alerting. Configuration data are stored on a floppy or USB disk.

Compact Flash Linux Project is a Linux distribution designed to run on a compact flash card in read-only mode. It is as small as possible, and currently needs around 14 MB. It includes OpenSSH, quagga, iptables, hostap, madwifi, wireless-tools, pppoe, tcpdump, bridge-utils, and more.

Feather Linux is a Linux distribution based on Knoppix 3.4 that can fit on a Mini-CD or on a 128 MB USB pen drive. It aims to have a wide range of applications for desktop, rescue, and administration uses.

YOS is a compact, personalized, and optimized OS with support for apt-rpm and tgz packages, with 1200 packages carefully selected and compiled for speed and stability. It has an automatic hardware detection system which should detect most modern hardware.
