mtPaint is a simple GTK+1/2 painting program
designed for creating icons and pixel-based
artwork. It can edit indexed palette or 24 bit RGB
images and offers basic painting and palette
manipulation tools. Its main file format is PNG,
although it can also handle JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP,
TGA, XPM, and XBM files.

Esta versión agrega multithreadeding multicore CPUs, herramientas para la segmentación de la imagen y para aproximar los degradados, las previsualizaciones dinámicas en los selectores de color, un área de base, un emergente del selector de color, autoscrolling, barras de herramientas con el cambio de tamaño automático, soporte para la PBM y PGM/PPM/PAM, PCX, y formatos de imagen SVG y para perfiles de color de imágenes, carga de archivos GIF animado y TIFF multipágina en capas, extracción de paleta de imágenes, "ajustar a la cuadrícula", algunos nuevos teclado accesos directos y basaban numerus y mejoras. Se han agregado nuevas traducciones húngaro y tagalo, más otras traducciones actualizadas y muchos errores corregidos.

This release adds multithreadeding multicore CPUs, tools for image segmentation and for approximating gradients, dynamic previews in color selectors, a dock area, a color chooser popup, autoscrolling, auto-resizing toolbars, support for the PBM/PGM/PPM/PAM, PCX, and SVG image formats and for color profiles in images, loading of animated GIFs and multipage TIFFs into layers, palette extraction from images, "snap to grid", some new keyboard shortcuts, and numerus speedups and improvements. New Hungarian and Tagalog translations have been added, most other translations updated, and many bugs fixed.
