cbrPager is a no-nonsense, simple to use, small viewer for CBR, CBZ, and CB7 (comic book archive) files. It views JPG, GIF, and PNG images, and you can zoom in, out, and fit-to-window. Viewing can be in 1- or 2-page mode. Navigation is possible by mouse or keyboard.

gfontview is a GTK+ font viewer for PostScript Type 1 and TrueType fonts. It allows you to display any character or string in a particular font as well as all glyphs present in it. It supports antialiasing and kerning. It can also print font samples and font catalogs.

Album Shaper is a graphical application used to
create, maintain, and share photo albums using
open formats like HTML and JPG. Two-layer albums
can be created in a drag-n-drop interface which
allows quick and easy arrangement and
categorization of photos. A few simple image
manipulations such as rotation and flipping are
provided to help get photos presentable as quickly
as possible. Photos, subalbums, and albums
themselves can be labeled as needed and modified
at a later time by saving and loading from a
simple XML format.

GTK Photo Gallery is an album to manage small and
medium-sized photograph collections. It allows
quick management by processing multiple files
together. Rotate, delete, move, and manage
descriptions can be done for all files in one
directory at once. It is possible to upload
pictures to an online laboratory to order prints.

GTK Photo Gallery is implemented with GTK2-Perl,
and due to the lack of a Web server in between, it
is much faster than CGI-based scripts. It uses the
same directory structure as (and can be used
together with) My Photo Gallery (a set of CGI
scripts).

It is possible to export (and import) an Album into 700 MB large parts for easy CD backup, including static HTML pages to navigate the CD. This can also be used to create a simple album for the Web.

KPhotoAlbum (formerly known as KimDaBa, KDE Image Database) is a tool for indexing, searching, and viewing images and videos. The indexing is done by telling KPhotoAlbum who is on the images, where the images were taken, and (optionally) adding descriptions. It is highly optimized for easy indexing of images, so that it is possible to use it with thousands of images. It also allows you to browse your images easily, based on the properties (person, location, keywords) you specified when indexing.

PHP Photogallery is a simple, easy-to-use photo gallery for your Web site.
There is a separate thumbnail view. In the full-size view there are links for
next/previous image. This photogallery also supports a simple text-file
database for descriptions of images.

Lazygal is another static Web gallery generator.
It is command line based, uses a reusable engine
and is lazy, meaning that it regenerates only
parts that have to be regenerated. There is
support for many interesting features like
subgalleries, EXIF information, theming, and
custom folder meta data. Included themes are pure
XHTML and CSS.

IDS is a CGI written in Perl that generates a multi-gallery photo album Web site on the fly. All you need to provide are the images and (optionally) descriptions. Features include support for internationalization, user interface themes, thumbnail generation for JPEG, PNG, TIFF, and GIF images, and the display of whatever other file types you choose. If you allow them to do so, guests can leave comments and order prints. Your files are searchable by name and description, and can be managed via a Web-based administrative interface.

Seg3D is a volume editing and processing tool that combines a flexible manual segmentation interface with powerful higher-dimensional image processing and segmentation algorithms from the Insight Toolkit. DICOM, VFF, META, NRRD, and many other volume formats are supported. Users can explore and label image volumes using configurable, orthogonal slice view windows and 3D volume rendering.
